Its face is a mirror. 🎃 THE HALFWAY A first-person horror game built in Rive. Fog, film grain and a flashlight, like the survival horror we grew up on. A forest where someone keeps calling her name. A diner that kept its light on. An old police scanner tape with a two-minute gap. 2:41. She's still talking. 2:43. He's going back down. Nobody knows what happened in between. Except him. In Stonewell, you write down the one thing you can't say out loud, and you burn it at midnight. So what would you write on yours? In a quiet lakeside town, there’s a little shop where people bring the things that hold the memories they’re afraid of forgetting. A photograph. An old letter. A childhood keepsake. And behind the canvas is Elias. 🎨 THE MEMORY PAINTER Elias listens to what people can't quite say, then turns what they remember into a painting. For this 120-second pilot, I built the world from the ground up in Cantina — Elias, his shop, the characters, environments, dialogue, sound, and the entire cinematic story. But this isn't really a story about painting other people's memories. Because eventually, Elias finds one of his own. A memory he had spent years avoiding. And just when he begins to face it... Someone arrives at his door. He looks up. So... what's your story? And that's where the real story begins. 🌌 I wanted The Memory Painter to feel like the first episode of a much larger world — where every visitor brings a different memory, a different story, and perhaps another piece of Elias's past. A child drew a dragon. 💬 And said: “the dragon is mad because the people woke him up… so now he’s burning all the buildings and they’re running.” 🎬 I turned that into a film. ✨ Just a drawing, a sentence, and a name — and it becomes a full story: Character → Story → Animation → Film — ❤️ This project is close to my heart. I built it for a girl named Angel. She was very ill when she was born. Our whole family prayed for her. She survived — so we called her Angel, because that’s what she felt like to us. I haven’t seen her in a while… but I wanted to create something she could feel. — 🌱 Because every child deserves to see their imagination come alive. Hi everyone, so its my day 1 here on contra, who am I? just a normie 19 year old in his first year of CS major trying to figure things out, so I have won around 7 Hackathons and few Product competitions? including wins at various IITs and IIMs and those wins made me realize one thing for sure- "I AM NOT MADE FOR CLASSIC 9 TO 5" and what made me realize that? I love interacting and building things together , i don't like those classy cubicle jobs, i learn by interacting and I am trying to discover what i want, being very honest i really am confused about what I am gonna do but one thing that I am sure about is I am gonna do something and figure things out by trying every shit I can and getting my hands dirty , at the same point I want to connect with you all and learn as much as i can from you guys(and obv always open to build something together :) ) so if you wanna connect, am just a DM away , will keep posting on daily basis ,trying to get some interactiveness here as well😔✋🏻. will see you all tomorrow after completing another day of productivity :) .
