Cover image for I was commissioned to bring

I was commissioned to bring a brand mascot to life for a reading app. The character, Bonny, a friendly virtual bonfire, supports and motivates users to achieve their reading goals. Built in Rive, the animation was designed as a flexible, scalable runtime. Bonny supports multiple visual themes, emotional states, and contextual actions, enabling the app to respond dynamically to user behaviour. From calm idle loops to celebratory bursts, subtle reactions, and reward moments, each animation reinforces positive feedback and deepens the connection between reader and product. The rig was structured to stay performant across devices while still allowing rich expression, resulting in a lightweight yet highly characterful system that enhances the overall experience.

A series of animated values icons for an internal comms branding job I worked on earlier in the year. The final versions had colour, but I think I preferred these monochromatic versions!

I had the chance to work with the guys over at @onparproductions (https://www.instagram.com/onparproductions/) and had a lovely time with @sjrdop (https://www.instagram.com/sjrdop/) and the team bringing part of their TVC for NHS Wales to life. A lot of fun working in the detail, on something that may seem fairly simple, but elevated by the level of focus on the tiny elements that make it that bit more believable. Loved the challenge, and the trust to make this happen. More of this please 🙏 Check out the full ad over at On Par 🎞️ Hit me up for anything VFX & Motion!

Loved this mixed media piece. Bespoke graphic moments combined with beautiful original stock. Combining hand drawn elements and 2D and 3D motion with a snappy fluid edit. Had a blast making this with the stunning team and Storm + Shelter. And look how nice that furniture is!
