Think of Shopify SEO as putting your store on the map so customers can actually find it on Google. β¨
A beautiful store means little if no one sees it. Good SEO helps your products appear when people search, bringing in more visitors without paying for every click.
Right now, I'm working on Mate Label, a fashionable women's wear store, optimizing their Shopify SEO to improve visibility, attract the right shoppers, and turn searches into sales. ππ
SEO isn't magic, it's making your store easier to find, one smart step at a time.

Nice translation of the avocado-oil branding into the PDP. Since this is a consumable people reorder on a cycle, is there a subscribe-and-save or reorder-reminder flow built in, or is the launch scope first-purchase-only for now? That's usually where the real revenue sits on a...
Shopify Overhaul: β¬7,400+ Sales & 5.09% Conversion RateI optimized a live Shopify storeβs layout, navigation, and mobile checkout to fix cart drop-offs. The direct results:β’ Total Sales: β¬7,490.64 (+286% increase)β’ Conversion Rate: 5.09% (Elite level)
Good numbers. Is the +286% comparing the same date range before and after, or cumulative since the redesign launched? And of the three changes, which one moved conversion the most, the checkout fix specifically or the navigation restructuring? Mobile checkout drop-off usually...
More content would have made this SEO problem worse
When organic traffic is low, the obvious reaction is often: βWe need more pages and more content.β
In this project, that would have been the wrong move.
The website was new, looked professional and had plenty of room to grow, but only 2 pages were indexed. Important product categories were difficult for search engines to discover because of the way the subdomain and JavaScript navigation were implemented.
We also found canonical conflicts, weak metadata, redirect issues, slow performance, missing structured data and several content problems.
If the client had started publishing 20β30 new pages immediately, we would simply have created more URLs inside a system that was already struggling to index the existing ones.
So we worked in a different order: first technical accessibility, then metadata and page structure, then schema and content improvements.
After implementation, organic clicks grew by 500β700%, impressions by 300β500%, and CTR reached 8.8%.
This is why I always separate two questions before building a content plan:
Do we have enough search demand?
Can the existing website actually capture that demand?
Content can scale SEO. But only after the foundation is ready to support it.
If your team is planning to invest heavily in new SEO content, send me the website. Iβll tell you what I would check before increasing the content budget.
