A few days ago, I started taking my Contra profile seriously.
Since then, I've:
Built out my portfolio with real projects
Published case studies and technical content
Refined my services to focus on AI, automation, and full-stack development
Connected with other professionals in the community
Today, my profile reached 33 points.
It's a small milestone, but it's a reminder that consistency beats perfection. Every project, every post, and every improvement adds up.
My focus isn't just growing a profileโit's building a portfolio that reflects the kind of work I enjoy creating: AI-powered applications, workflow automation, scalable web platforms, and custom software solutions.
Looking forward to sharing more projects and connecting with more builders and businesses on Contra.

A week ago I got accepted into Contra Labs as a Brand Designer. This week I completed my first paid project through it.
What's changed since my last post:
Discovery score is now 122, top 5% of creatives overall
Completed my first paid, on-platform project through Contra
What I've learned this round:
Reviews and a complete profile get you seen, but an actual completed project on the platform is a different kind of proof. That was the piece genuinely missing before this.
What I do:
Still a one-person studio. Brand identity, packaging design with production-ready files and 3D mockups, and full website builds, handled end to end so nothing gets lost between design and execution.
Based in Karachi, working with clients globally. Genuinely happy to give back here too, if you're working on your Contra profile and want a second pair of eyes on it, case studies, services, positioning, whatever's not landing, send it over and I'll help however I can.

From the last report, my Discovery score has increased significantly, now Iโm at 160 pts and Top 1% of creatives ๐
And I finally hit:

Which honestly feels like one of the key turning points for my visibility here.
Looking at the patterns, Iโm starting to strongly believe that:

has a massive impact on distribution and profile boost.

๐ Profile completion: 100%
๐ I entered Top 1% of creatives on Contra
๐๏ธ Life update (slightly chaotic edition):
I recently left Czech Republic for a few months and moved to Phuket, Tailand
Between:
โ relocating
โ renting out my apartment
โ flights
โ personal errands
โ and still adjusting to jetlag
I was a bit less consistent with posting updates.
But Iโm slowly getting back into rhythm and I promise Iโll continue sharing the journey more actively again very soon.

Started this project just to create a basketball team's brand assets... but somewhere along the way, it turned into a full launch promo. ๐
The process was way more fun than I expected.
โข Started with 4 logo concepts and picked my favorite.
โข Tweaked the colors in Figma.
โข Used Envato AI to generate the full brand kits such as jerseys, shoes, wristbands, mascot, badges, and more.
โข Generated 3 music tracks with Envato AI Music. One became the official teaser soundtrack
I rejected a lot of generations. Not because they were bad but because they didn't match the vision. Every round of refinement pushed the project closer to the feeling I wanted. AI can generate endless possibilities, but taste is still a human skill.
Finally, I brought everything together in After Effects and turned it into a launch promo.
Sometimes the best design decision isn't choosing the right image or color, it's having the patience to reject good ideas until the right one appears.
