The 30-second failure point is useful because it changes how you plan the whole edit. I'd keep one visual detail fixed in each shorter shot so there's something stable to match when you stitch them together.

Yeah, I completely agree.
For commercial work, going shot by shot isn't going away anytime soon because it gives you maximum control while keeping generation costs and iterations manageable.
But I think generating an entire 30-second clip—or even a full minute—will be a game...
