Something new is taking shape in the studio. No final brief, no client reveal—just an ongoing exploration of an invented universe called KINQKONQ.

Look closer at the details. There is a nod to the quiet discipline of the East—a minimalist horizon and a rising focal point. There is the subtle, rhythmic linear flow reminiscent of steam rising from a bowl of broth, or perhaps timber beams locked in traditional joinery. And beneath the surface, a faint echo of a monumental cinematic legend breaking through structural boundaries.

Before I peel back the layers next week: What world does KINQKONQ belong to? Is it a modern culinary concept, a film archive, an editorial brand, or something else entirely?

When the ambition of a brand changes, its identity has to evolve with it. The original identity had a clear starting point, but as the company prepared to launch its product and enter conversations with investors, it became clear that the visual language no longer reflected the brand’s ambition. For Bewy, we moved away from a literal and playful visual language toward something more refined, credible and future-oriented. The new identity is built around three ideas: space, letter B, and progress. A visual identity designed to reflect where Bewy is going, not where it started.
