Billiar — Modern Heritage Creating a brand identity for Billiar, a Modern Heritage label inspired by the quiet discipline of a private pool parlor. For this challenge, I wanted the direction to be less about "AI made this" and more about showing what happens when a human eye stays in charge of every decision, especially with all the noise out there about AI replacing judgment instead of supporting it. I built a full brand identity with from zero to a complete lookbook: logo, product line, packaging, campaign. The process wasn't linear. There were points where I had to decide if an asset actually belonged, or if it just looked good, those aren't the same thing. A "perfect" output would come back and still be wrong: a logo that rendered as a generic monogram instead of my actual wordmark, a wallet that broke my color system, packaging that read as plastic when the brand needed paper. I rejected a lot. I corrected the color logic myself. I rebuilt prompts until it stopped feeling generated and started feeling intentional. When it came to typography, mockups, product renders, packaging textures: all generated in Envato. But every one of them passed through the same filter: does this actually belong in Billiar's world, or does it just look impressive on its own. I pictured this as a brand a real client would put their name behind, so I stayed disciplined about that the whole way through. I made every decision. Envato helped me get there faster.
