[V/A002INNU] - Album Cover for Innusual Album cover for [V/A002INNU], the second various-artists compilation on Innusual, a Buenos Aires label with international reach. Released 16 August 2025. A compilation cover has a harder brief than a single-artist release: it has to hold nine tracks by nine different producers without belonging to any one of them. So the image stays cold and structural instead of expressive - a disc fractured from the centre outward, fine branching cracks running across an otherwise flat technical surface, set inside a drafting frame that keeps the whole thing feeling measured. Almost no colour, deliberately. Off-white against near black, so it survives as a 300px thumbnail in a streaming grid and still holds detail when someone opens it full size.

I built the Smooch brand from the ground up, strategy, identity, wordmark, colour world. The can was the last piece, the moment it finally became something real.
The brief: a packaging system that scales. One hero flavour today, a full range tomorrow, no rebuild required.
First problem, the logo. Smooch's bold wordmark has a curve underneath it that dies at full width on a can, and angling it across felt gimmicky, not confident. So I turned it vertical instead, running the full height, full scale.
Colour had to carry the brand and split the flavours at once. Deep burgundy anchors it, red punches through the wordmark, and each flavour gets its own accent, blush, gold, peach.
No fruit photography. Instead, a graphic starburst holding a simple illustrated fruit, ownable and ready for whatever flavour comes next.
The back label carried ingredients, actives, and every mandatory without losing the premium tone.
Going vertical also quietly solved the shelf problem: cans sit in a fridge door at a slight angle and a horizontal wordmark rotates out of legibility, whereas a full-height one still reads from either side. Curious whether the starburst has a fixed point count across flavours or...
The Lover’s Eye was never just a portrait. It was a portrait of a gaze. The art of looking back.
For the #FLORAMuseumChallenge, I chose the 19th-century Lover’s Eye Bracelet, an intimate object featuring a miniature of a loved one’s eye. Pieces like these were worn close to the body so the wearer could imagine their beloved’s gaze resting upon them 👁️
That idea became my creative starting point: what if the gaze that we see in art could be returned?
So I imagined a woman walking through present-day New York wearing the bracelet. As we get closer to the miniature, we find "Ivy" actually looking out from her own time. The person preserved inside the object is suddenly looking back at us, creating a fleeting exchange between past and present.
The engraved name “Ivy” on the back of the actual bracelet became a small but meaningful detail that helped me imagine the story behind the object.
And so I wanted to create something that felt like a visual poem 💛
A gaze captured centuries ago, finding its way back to another pair of eyes.

A painting that survived on the one wall still standing, after the house around it was destroyed. The storm it once depicted became real smoke, rising from the same horizon behind it — same place, same hills, same water, but the calm is gone.
I didn't age the painting forward or backward in time. I placed it somewhere that exists in parallel to where most of us are sitting right now — a place where this kind of stillness has been replaced by something else entirely.

Built on FLORA, starting from a static image of the painting, then building the surrounding wall and environment through iterative generation and manual refinement, before animating the final camera move outward.
