What should come first: the price or the value?
Version 1 presents the price immediately, making the offer transparent and easy to evaluate at a glance.
Version 2 introduces the program and its benefits first, giving users more context before revealing the investment.
One supports clarity and faster decision-making. The other builds interest before asking users to consider the price.
Which approach would make you more likely to explore the offer: seeing the price first or understanding the value first?

value first imo. a number with no context just makes people bounce

My gut says value first, mostly because $497 cold with zero context reads like a paywall. Have you actually run this as a live A/B on real traffic, or is it more of a design gut-check for now?

Version 2, value always come first

Trend is Version 2 but I think this should be version 1.

If the ideal customer is coming for the product where they feel value is something they are aligned with, then value, and if the product or a brand is positioned around the pricing for the market competition, then I would say price should be the first factor. It all depends on how the brand is positioned in the market.

this is a very interesting design choices. i pick version 2. i live this version because i gives me a humbling vibe like. saying
"here's our product and these are the benefits, then if you are interested Here's the Price"
gives me like a humbling vibe
and option 1. for me, it...

Version 1 because we are already habituated to see the prive above all its details in a pricing table.

It requires A/B testing to see which one is converting however I believe price should be first as the normal behavior to the pricing in many platforms like contra pricing or figma they start with price then the benefits
what do you think?

I agree with you. For an offer where the value isn't immediately obvious, value should come first. Once someone understands what they're getting and why it matters, the price has context instead of being judged in isolation.

I’d choose Version 2. For a mentorship offer, people need to understand the outcome and what’s included before deciding whether $497 feels worthwhile. Leading with the price is more transparent, but it can cause cold visitors to judge the offer before they understand its value....

To me, the traditional approach to pricing design is Version 1, where users see the price before the package details.
However, I’d choose Version 2 because it allows users to understand the value and features of the package first before seeing the price. I think that creates a stronger value-first experience.

I lean toward value first. A little context makes the price feel like part of the story instead of a surprise.

There is a reason why most chose 'version 2'. The visual hierarchy is clear; the user gets context and a strong reason to decide to buy or not. In this option, the user is well informed and more likely to convert into a sale. Version 1 can be counterproductive in this case.
