Indoor Club — a 1991 tennis school, and the website that was costing them players
THE BEFORE: Indoor Club has run 5 red clay courts in Torino since 1991. The kind of place where coaches know every kid by name. But online? A website built years ago and abandoned — no booking, no mobile experience, no story. In 2026 an outdated website doesn't just look bad: it actively sends players to clubs that answer faster. Meanwhile, every booking ran through the phone. During opening hours. If someone picked up.
THE AFTER: I rebuilt their entire digital presence on @Base44 — a website ++ booking platform designed like real club software, not a template. Dark editorial UI, Big Shoulders + Geist Mono, one acid-yellow accent, and a live court timeline as the heart of the product: open it, and in 3 seconds you know what's free right now. Desktop is a full dashboard; iPhone is recomposed with bottom tabs and sheets — not a shrunk desktop.
THE AUTOMATION:
Real-time reservations: guests book in 3 taps with name, surname, phone — no account — and get an instant booking code
"Save my details" turns guests into members: auto-login on return, 2-tap rebooking
Waitlist: tap a busy slot → get notified when it frees
Members layer: trainings, open matches to join, staff console for courts and lessons
A 35-year-old club now runs bookings the way it runs its courts: precisely, and without wasted motion. Every booking in the app is a phone call they never answer.

"No account, 3 taps, instant code" is exactly the kind of detail that separates real club software from a generic booking widget. Was the waitlist notify-on-free-slot feature something the club specifically asked for, or a gap you spotted while mapping out the old phone-booking flow?

Quick recap of the before: only an Instagram page as online presence, a Linktree, bookings through DMs, and a fixed menu per class — if guests didn't like the dishes, they simply didn't come.
1 — The menu voting
The feature I'm most happy about. Guests pick up to 2 dishes they'd love to cook when booking a group class. The host sees the vote tally and finalizes the menu in one click. No more guessing what people want to cook — the menu is shaped by the ones actually coming.
2 — Private masterclasses
A three-step flow: choose up to 3 dishes from the visual menu, propose a date, leave your details. The request lands in the admin fully structured — and the host replies with a ready one-click email draft.
3 — The AI assistant
Answers what guests always ask — transfer, prices, what to bring, whether dinner is included. Tappable suggested questions, so nobody stares at an empty chat. And it knows the difference: transfer is available for group classes, not for private ones.
4 — The admin space
Everything is CMS-based: events, dishes, bookings, requests, testimonials. The owner edits it all directly — it's a system she runs herself, not a website that needs me every time something changes.
5 — The design
Quiet and editorial on purpose. A place like this doesn't need a loud website — it needs one that feels like the guesthouse: calm, warm, food-first.

From Instagram DMs To Bookings Organised — LINO London Glow-Up
For the #GiveItAGlow challenge from @Base44, I made a booking website for LINO London, a Japanese nail salon in Holborn, London.
The idea was to do more than just make a new website but to make one that is actually useful for the business.
Before:
LINO London already had a nice Instagram page, but bookings usually happened through DMs. This can cause some unnecessary hassle and lack of organisation.
After:
I have built a live, mobile-first Base44 website, allowing customers to easily request appointments.
This website has:
• Premium homepage
• Services & prices
• Gallery curated
• Requesting appointments process
• Owner private dashboard
• Booking logs
• Client information
• Managing appointments statuses
Automation:
Upon requesting an appointment, the booking gets stored on the site, the owner gets notified about it, customer receives a confirmation.
It allows turning Instagram engagement into structured appointment requests and making things easier for the owner.
