I like the theory that the first artists were shamans.
Before language hardened into syntax and rules, maybe humans gathered like this— in small circles beneath impossible mushrooms, moving together for no reason other than beauty, harmony, and joy.
A midsummer ritual from an imaginary past. Or maybe just a reminder that, in spite of our efforts to the contrary, we’re still part of nature’s choreography.
