1 feels less busy, though i do love both! there's a stronger sense of self-ownership in the shifting design on a static image in my opinion.
Since i like simplism and minimalism i am going to say option 1 but both is amazing and i had hard time choosing!

both looks good but imma choose option 1. for simplicity. about option 2. i cant think of a good use case yet
Excellent visual hierarchy. Everything feels well balanced.
1 for me. The mockup adds context and gives the mark a stronger first impression. The flat version is clean, but seeing it in use makes it feel more memorable.
Nice work as usual! Variant 2 brings a sharp hierarchy that keeps the presentation super readable at a glance.
Voted 1, the human in frame gives the mark scale and context that a flat crop never will.
