Both designs are really good however it depends on the main goal “warm up at home or warm up in the gym” that’s why the main goal of the brand and the target audience is the key of taking the best decision

Agreed on the depth read. The sage version earns it because the foreground figure breaks the grid while the copy holds the negative space, so the eye moves without getting lost. The light version feels calmer but flattens that layering.

What's one thing you wish clients understood about your work?
Mine: the design part is often the easy part. Making the right decisions is what takes time.
Great question! Not sure exactly. I've been fortunate enough to work with clients (for the most part) who respect and understand the design process. But if I had to point out one thing, it would be that sometimes we are not mind readers. Having a great briefing and communication goes a long way.
Working on something new: a portfolio template for creative studios and branding agencies, built on Framer.
Still shaping it. More soon.
For an ADHD brain, which is better UX:
“Let me choose”
or
“Tell me what’s next”?
A gives users more freedom to scan, explore, choose.
B creates a clearer path, makes progress visible, and reduces decisions.
Neither is automatically better
But for users dealing with attention, overwhelm, & decision fatigue, structure can directly affect whether they continue or drop off
