Both designs are really good however it depends on the main goal “warm up at home or warm up in the gym” that’s why the main goal of the brand and the target audience is the key of taking the best decision

Agreed on the depth read. The sage version earns it because the foreground figure breaks the grid while the copy holds the negative space, so the eye moves without getting lost. The light version feels calmer but flattens that layering.
