🔥 Building a Website for a Food Business — Work in Progress
Currently working on a custom website for a food business 🍔🍕🔥
This project is all about creating a website that doesn't just show food — it makes people want to order it.
I’m going for a bold, premium and slightly vintage-inspired visual direction, with a dark atmosphere, warm food-focused visuals, and strong orange/gold accents to match the brand.
🚧 What I’m building:
🎨 Custom UI/UX
Designing the entire experience from scratch instead of using a generic restaurant template.
🍔 Interactive Menu
Organizing the complete food menu into categories with food images, descriptions, prices and Veg/Non-Veg options.
🛒 Online Ordering System
Customers will be able to browse the menu, add multiple items to their cart, adjust quantities and see their total before ordering.
💬 WhatsApp Ordering
The checkout flow will collect the customer's important details and generate the complete order information so it can be sent directly to the restaurant owner's WhatsApp.
📱 Fully Responsive Design
Making sure the website works smoothly across desktop, tablet and mobile — because most food orders happen on phones.
⚡ Animations & Interactions
Adding smooth transitions, hover effects, scroll animations, menu interactions and other small details to make the website feel more alive.
📍 Location & Contact
Adding dedicated sections for the restaurant's location, contact information, opening hours and directions.

Creating a section that builds trust and gives customers a reason to choose the business.
🎯 The goal
Not just another restaurant website.
The goal is to create a complete digital storefront for the food business — something that represents the brand, showcases the food beautifully and makes the path from “That looks delicious” → “I want to order this” as simple as possible.

A bespoke, responsive web experience designed and developed for Roma 1986, a traditional artisanal pizzeria in Mortara (Pavia, Italy). The platform balances warm editorial aesthetics with dynamic functional utility to streamline table bookings and showcase the menu.
Project Overview: The goal was to move beyond a static flyer-style website and deliver an interactive dining portal that highlights culinary craftsmanship, simplifies the guest reservation journey, and drives direct covers.
Key Highlights:
Dynamic Menu & Catalog Display: A clean, responsive food-and-beverage grid featuring rich imagery, clear item categorisation (classic pizzas, gourmet specials, drinks), and live pricing.
Integrated Reservation System: A dedicated table booking workflow with input validation, scheduling parameters (date, time, party size), and instant WhatsApp booking integration for immediate confirmation.
Heritage Storytelling: A structured narrative timeline detailing the pizzeria's craft, dough maturation process, and local roots.
Conversion-Driven Mobile UX: Sticky navigation, one-tap calling, interactive location mapping, and opening hours formatted for friction-free mobile browsing.
