Most local service websites make visitors work too hard to get in touch.
For Jason Lauer Electrical, I wanted the opposite.
The goal was to create a website where a potential customer could quickly understand what the business does, trust the company, find the service they need, and take action.
I handled the entire website from UX strategy and structure to UI design and Framer development.
The UX was built around a simple journey:
Understand the service → Build trust → Find the right solution → Request an estimate.
That influenced several design decisions.
The hero immediately communicates the service, location, experience, and key trust signals, while giving visitors two clear options: request a free estimate or call directly.
Services are presented in scannable cards instead of forcing visitors through long paragraphs. Testimonials, experience, certifications, and an FAQ section then answer common objections and reinforce credibility before the visitor reaches the final CTA.
The lesson?
A website doesn't need more sections to convert better.
It needs a clearer path from “What does this business do?” to “I want to contact them.”
Built in Framer.

I usually don't stop at 3 breakpoints when building a website.
Most people think about: Mobile, Tablet, Laptop
I like adding one more: Desktop
Because what looks great at 1440px can feel completely different at 1920px...
- The layout gets too wide.
- Spacing starts feeling off.
- Content loses its balance.
So I like testing the system across: Mobile → Tablet → Laptop → Desktop
Not because every website needs exactly 4 breakpoints. But because responsive design isn't about making a few screen sizes work.
It's about making the whole system work.

Ledger — AI CFO Platform
Ledger is an AI platform that acts as an always-on Chief Financial Officer for founders — connecting to accounts, learning cash rhythm, and surfacing risks before they become real problems. I designed the full landing page.
My role: UI/UX Design
Scope: Landing page
Financial tools for founders usually feel either cold (dashboards) or intimidating (accounting software).
For Ledger, we borrowed from old-world institutional finance instead — serif type, oil-painting textures, classical architecture — so an AI CFO feels like real authority, not another app.
