The way you blended the painterly backgrounds with your actual selfie is seamless, I had to look twice to catch it wasn't shot on location. How many rounds did it take with Sunburst before the lighting on the coat matched the painted scene?

Thank you- to be honest it did not need multiple iterations. It is something I have played with before but not in Sunburst. I've also gotten great results in Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro but it takes more liberties with the selfie. GPT Image models tend to keep that a bit...

thank you so much! I have been playing around with this approach for a while and had done other versions with it. when GPTImage 2.5 came out I wanted to test it against prior ones I had done. Also I want that coat so...sort of scratches the itch.

Not every client comes to me for a brand identity and not all my clients are skincare or cosmetic brands.

That was the case with Hoppr, a protein powder brand made from crickets. 🦗 YES, CRICKETS!

Sometimes the logo, colors, and visual system are already there and my job is to bring them to life on packaging and see how far I can push them.

I love projects like this because I get to play with typography, layout, and materials while working within an existing identity.

How much freedom do you think a designer should have when working with an established brand?

Built this in Framer as a concept project. Goal was to make it feel run by ex-journalists. Choices: editorial serif (Libre Baskerville), a dark photo with one color accent, and copy that positions against blast-style PR.

Where I’m unsure: text legibility over the photo and whether the two CTAs compete. What would you change?
