Your brain decides to trust a brand in 7 seconds.
Not 7 minutes.
Not after reading the website.
Not after the sales call.
7 seconds.
And in those 7 seconds, you're not thinking.
Your subconscious is running a background check.
It scans 4 things. Instantly. Silently.
01 — Does this feel familiar?
The brain trusts what it recognises.
Inconsistent brands feel unsafe, even if the product is great.
02 — Does this feel like me?
People don't buy brands they admire.
They buy brands they see themselves in.
03 — Does this feel true?
The brain detects inauthenticity before the conscious mind does.
One fake touchpoint poisons the whole brand.
04 — Does this feel premium?
Cheap visuals signal cheap thinking.
The brain equates design quality with product quality. Always.
Most founders spend months on the product.
Zero hours on these 4 questions.
Then, they wonder why nobody trusts them fast enough.
Your brand has 7 seconds.
Make everyone count.
Which of the 4 checks is your brand failing right now?
A fuller look at the brand identity work we for Vetti, a dog health monitoring brand.
The connected dots carry through the whole identity. They form the mark, expand into patterns and give the campaign a recognisable language of its own. Sometimes they fill the layout.
Paired with warm orange and cream the system has room for both the technology and the dogs it’s there for.
The jump from loose sketches to a cohesive café world is so satisfying—those little cup and bag marks carry through beautifully. I especially like how the roughness survived the polish instead of getting flattened.
These tones are stunning. I can instantly picture this color system translating beautifully into soft, flowing motion graphics for a brand reveal video. Great exploration!
