Marigold is a one day concept for envato's human by design challenge. i set the direction in real photography first then generated against that standard.
The decision to anchor the AI generation in real photography gives the concept a convincing visual spine—those warm yellow/teal contrasts feel especially intentional.

Setting the direction with real photography first is such a smart workflow. The yellow is doing a lot of heavy lifting and it works perfectly. Feels warm and very on-brand for the challenge brief.

Love how cohesive this feels for a one-day concept. The yellow/teal palette, typography, and photography all feel like they belong to the same world instead of separate design experiments.

A little more about the inspiration behind Tindara.
I wanted the identity to have a connection to Tindari, Sicily. The Madonna di Tindari statue was the starting point for the symbol, while Sicilian decorative patterns inspired the graphics around it.
For the colors, I chose mustard yellow, deep green, and burgundy, balanced with cream. I wanted to bring some of that warmth and richness into the packaging, while keeping the different elements comfortable together.
For me, these references are what give the project its character and sense of place.
