Hornways Airlines - Unused Logo Concept ✈️
An early logo exploration for Hornways Airlines, designed around the idea of connection, movement, and taking the Horn of Africa to the world.
The symbol uses directional forms to create a sense of forward motion, while the clean wordmark keeps the identity modern, professional, and scalable across aircraft, digital platforms, and future applications.
This concept didn't make the final cut, but I'm curious:

The way the barrel curves carry all the way through to the packaging is such a tight through line. Since this was self-initiated, did the sculptural direction come first and the 15 second film get built around it, or were they developed side by side?
I designed this logo when I had just started learning graphic design. A few weeks ago, my client reached out wanting a rebrand because the business has grown and the old identity no longer reflects where the brand is headed.
Trifecta has evolved from a post-op recovery brand into a more elevated aesthetic concierge experience, so I wanted the new identity to feel more refined, feminine, and luxurious while still keeping a connection to the original brand.
This was such a good reminder that design should grow with the business, not just look good.
