The character illustration on the cup does a lot of work here. Specialty coffee brands can trend toward minimal and precious, but giving it a mascot and keeping it warm and approachable is a smart direction for a bakery crossover.
Yes!! And the best part is that Frankie is actually a real dog ā the ownersā dog. She became the face of the brand, which made it feel much more authentic and personal rather than creating a mascot from scratch š

That little dog mascot on the cup is so charming, it gives Frankie and Bean a warmth that a lot of specialty coffee branding misses. The merch even feels like something people would actually want to wear, not just a logo slapped on a shirt.

We created Dozkafe to feel warm, welcoming, and full of personality. From the expressive logotype to the earthy packaging and playful brand touchpoints, every detail was designed to make the cafƩ experience feel memorable long before the first sip.
There's something special about building a brand that lives beyond the logo and creates a feeling people remember. We'd love to explore more hospitality brands in this creative direction.

Going minimal here. The Palm Retreat mark has that right balance of restraint and character, the letterforms do a lot of work without needing the icon to carry it. The Stanford one reads more template-heavy than designed.
