@Contra HQ suggestion for future challenges: make it clear, maybe on the guidelines page, if we need a paid account in whatever tool to enter the challenge - even if the brand is giving out free credits.
this would've saved me about 3h today brainstorming and storyboarding a cool project that I wasn't able to bring to life and into this challenge 😐 especially one I was so excited about (I was literally bringing my weird dream from the other day to life)
PS: of course I would've paid for credits since it was my fault I didn't sign up for the free ones on time, and I would've likely upgraded my CapCut to Pro if given the heads up, but not like this...
PPS: contra I still love you and your challenges ♥️ but thought I'd share this feedback in case it helps anyone else in the future too
Can someone help me get credits amended to my account for this challenge :) have not received anything, applied a few days ago.
CCRROOAAKK!! Built from failed iterations.
Attempts that did not deliver. Transformations that broke, things the model added that blocked the natural flow, states that went nowhere. I trimmed them and joined them with other attempts to build this.
Seedance 2.5 in CapCut Video Studio, joined by hand so the discards run as one continuous piece. If you look closely, the seams are still there, but the trip holds.

Posting the cutting room floor stuff like this is honestly more useful to other creators than a polished final reel would be. I can still spot a couple of the seams you mentioned, does that bug you or does the rough edge actually add to the creature's unease?
