Day 6 of 30 Days of Real Business Problems:
PASSED APART
Every stage approved its part.
The dimensions were valid. The tolerances were accepted. Each module passed its own inspection.
The system still could not exist.
I built an interactive prototype where four independently approved modules are forced to share one master spine.
The first two fit.
At the third, a small misalignment becomes resistance. Resistance becomes pressure. Pressure shifts a module, opens a gap, and bends the spine.
Nothing failed on its own.
The failure only appeared after integration.
