This musician cat was built for an app serving street artists — designed to feel friendly, charismatic, and alive inside the product.

15 states driven by a state machine: he plays guitar, piano, sax, flute, dances, thinks, celebrates, greets, and more. All triggered by inputs, all connected to what the user is doing.

Scoped and delivered end-to-end: concept, character design, and Rive animation.

15 states in Rive with a state machine is a serious build. The personality comes through even just in the still, which is hard to achieve with flat illustration. The hat is a good character choice too, gives him a bit of story without needing words.

Ontop of just screen recording. The free plan will let you render out images , image sequences , or video. Main thing the paid plan does is let you export .riv files to use in a runtime like web, or export/import .rev for sharing work.
