Creating a mascot and interactive animation in Rive.

The app was created for street musicians, and it needed a mascot that would embody the spirit of street music. This mascot also had to interact with users by responding to certain actions.

I designed a custom mascot for the client — a street musician cat. All the animations for the mascot were created in Rive, using State Machine and other Rive features.

The project involved the use of bones, joysticks, solos, and a state machine to manage transitions between animations and enable interactivity.

The entire project took 30 days to complete. Throughout the process, there were many discussions, experiments, and interesting problem-solving moments. The client was highly involved, which made it easier and quicker to understand their vision.
