Dark for premium tech, Image 2. Shadows make the product the hero and read as high-end, which is why most flagship audio and phones launch on black. Daylight feels friendlier but more mass-market. For Voltra, the shadows sell the price tag.

White backgrounds for me, it keeps the flowers as the hero and won't fight with the product grid once you scale past a handful of items. Are you testing this with actual customers or is it mostly a gut call at this stage?
