Option 1 for me, the eye reads instantly and the negative space in the X still pops. Are you planning to animate the logo mark for the extension's loading state?

Thanks! I am thinking of animating it for promo/tutorial vids but i am not certain if I want a loading screen in the extension itself - it may be too much - as this is not a standalone app, and is part of a generally austeer and professional UI - I feel it may be to flashy...

Ilya both are great but I think option 1 slightly better☺️

Went with the version where the e sits as its own circle before the X diamond, it reads as one continuous wordmark. The other one has the X arrows fighting for attention against exLib as a separate unit.

I think option one here is more balanced.

Option 1 seems to have better symmetry.

Option 1 is better for readability, but I would still play around with the X a bit to make it more easy to see to the eye.

Option 1 shows hidden ''X'' as ''X'' anyway. But option 2 shows it twice.
