The Last Note — Halloween-Themed Character Design & Horror Poster
I first drew this character as a simple 2D illustration, then transformed it into a 3D character using AI. Its unusual appearance, brown hair, and piano-key collar inspired me to take the concept in a darker direction.
For this project, I wanted to create a Halloween-themed psychological horror concept. Since the character has a love for music but also has an unsettling presence, I developed The Last Note as a cinematic horror poster.
Love this!

A little throwback to one of our favorite collaborations with Lion Pose! 🧡
We worked with the founders to bring their vision to life through core brand identity, logo, and packaging design, creating a bold, playful visual language that feels fresh in the skincare space.
So lovely to see Lion Pose grow from its early days to the shelves of Sephora, with our packaging work recognized at the 2024 Dieline Awards!
Nice work
MELATONIN. — Only Made in the Dark
A drop-based streetwear store, designed and built end to end in Base44 in
a single night.
Melatonin is the hormone your body only makes in darkness — light destroys it. So the brand sells darkness. Pieces don't sell out, they get BLEACHED: washed out by light, stamped, and filed permanently into an archive that nothing ever returns from.
THE DESIGN:
An editorial system rather than a shop template. A heavy condensed wordmark the model walks straight through, hairline rules, monospaced captions, numbered sections. The real molecular structure of melatonin is a live brand graphic — every atom is a piece in the current cycle, and the molecule breaks apart as pieces bleach. Pure black on white, one signal red used in five places. Fully responsive: you can browse a phase, pick a size and check out entirely on mobile.
THE AUTOMATION
· Cycles release in five phases, one per week. Phases unlock themselves on
a schedule — a drop runs with no human action.
· Customers join a waitlist on any sealed phase. The second the timer hits
zero, Base44 unlocks it and emails everyone waiting.
· When the last unit sells, the piece auto-bleaches, records how fast it
went, and files itself into the archive.
· Automatic order confirmations and low-stock alerts.
· A full back office: products, live orders, customers with lifetime spend,
a release schedule, team invites with roles, and a dashboard watching
revenue, stock and anything about to bleach.

Great design, I love it.
Every client has said this at least once:
"It’s just one small change."
Then auth breaks, database need a migration, one integration stops working, and somehow it’s 2 AM 😅
Writing the change is usually easy. Finding everything it can break is the real work.
What was your biggest “small change”?
This is so relatable — that line about finding everything it can break being the real work is spot on. The 2 AM part made me laugh.
