$250K on Contra ๐
Still can't believe we're writing this.
Huge thanks to every client who trusted us, and to team Contra for building a place where independent creatives can actually grow.
Onto the next one ๐
$250K is a huge number to hit as an independent shop, congrats. Looking back at the early days, is there a client or project you'd point to as the real turning point, or did it feel more gradual than one big break?
My Contra Discovery Score has reached 114 points, placing me in the top 10% of creatives on the platform. My profile quality and profile completion are both at 100%, with a 5/5 average rating and availability turned on.
As a software engineer specializing in React, .NET, API development, and SAP Business One, I'm continuing to strengthen my Contra presence, showcase my portfolio, and connect with potential clients for new freelance opportunities.
This card stack transition combining the SVG of each card to the sticky position is giving my brain really satisfying scratches ๐๐

I've been doing a lot more Framer developments lately where I don't do the design, I think one of the big advantages of having a strong background in design is that I can see the designers vision to translate it into the web obsessing over the details.
I.e. see Figma design screenshot in the comments how each card had the same SVG but in irregular placements, I saw it as an opportunity to perfectly align them on scroll and add a bit of a transparency reveal at the end. It feels way more intentional and ties everything together.
