The icon system for Končar House Appliances was developed directly from the logotype itself.
Starting from the letter “Č”, we used its form to create a washing machine icon, which became the conceptual starting point for the wider system. From there, the same visual logic was extended across other household appliance categories, creating a consistent family of pictograms closely tied to the identity.
What started as a small detail in the logotype became a broader visual asset for the brand.

This deserves more than just liking, this deserves to be featured! 🏆 Deriving the entire appliance iconography suite directly from the logotype geometry is absolute genius!
The way this comes together is so good
Deriving the pictogram set from the Č itself is the part that makes this hold together. Most icon systems get built parallel to the identity instead of out of it, so the connection back to the logotype usually gets lost by the fifth icon.
Turning the letter C with the caron into a washing machine icon and building a whole system's logic from that one shape is such a clever constraint to work within. Once you had that first icon locked, how much of the rest of the system followed naturally versus needing its own rules?
Yeah, once we had the washing machine, almost all of the other icons followed pretty naturally. Only a few needed some extra tweaking to make them work within the system. It was one of those moments where one idea kind of unlocks everything else.

Took up this project a few weeks ago. The brief was simple, design an identity that doesn't need to scream luxury, but speaks for itself. A private collection of 17 residences.
The logomark draws inspiration from Spanish architectural heritage, specifically the Draped Arch, one of the most distinct and revered forms in Spanish design. Chosen not only for its visual elegance, but for what it symbolises: a sacred threshold. A portal marking the transition into something new. The creation of a home. A new standard of living.
The arch was then studied alongside the architecture of the residence itself, drawing from shared elements of form and proportion. Spanish architectural language meeting the building's own design, producing a mark that feels both rooted and original.
The result is an icon that does not need to announce itself. It simply speaks, quietly, confidently, and with purpose.

Deriving the arch from the actual building instead of a generic architectural reference is what makes this feel earned rather than decorative. The laser cut piece in the last shot is a great way to prove the mark works in three dimensions too.
