Every shot in this project was AI-generated. Every decision behind it wasn't.
For Envato's Human by Design challenge, I built three pieces: a full launch campaign for Pebble, an insulated flask; a short video capturing the exact moment the AI-made version hands off to the real one; and a longer process video walking through how it all actually came together.
The human part shows up twice. First, inside the Pebble campaign itself — nothing in the final cut is the first thing AI generated. The parachute-drop opening, the color transitions, the splash shot, the final choreography of every clip — each one went through real, repeated revision: watching a draft, deciding it wasn't there yet, rebuilding it by hand until it was. Second, in the structure of the process video itself. It opens like a polished AI ad on purpose, deliberately withholding that it's AI-made — then cuts to me, in real life, at the exact moment I realized the "finished" version wasn't actually finished. The switch from AI to real isn't just shown. It's the whole argument.
Built with Envato's toolkit throughout: stock photography and footage for reference and b-roll, licensed music, a full sound design pass for every beat of ambience and foley, custom fonts, and Envato's AI suite for image, video, and voice generation — across both the Pebble campaign and the process video.

This project explores the relationship between human creativity and AI—not as competitors, but as collaborators.
Rather than creating a fully AI-generated film, I focused on documenting a real creative workflow.
The screen recordings of ChatGPT and Envato are real, and most of the visuals were created using Envato Elements assets. AI was intentionally used for only a small number of cinematic shots to support the narrative, while the creative direction, research, prompt development, editing, and storytelling remained human-led.
ChatGPT served as a creative collaborator throughout the project, helping me refine the concept, structure the narrative, improve prompts, and strengthen the overall story.
The goal wasn't to show what AI can create alone—but what humans can create when they know how to direct it.

AI Spec Ad
This spot was created entirely using AI tools, from start to finish — no cameras, no actors, no shoot.
It began with a base image generated in ComfyUI, building out the visual concept of "Sleep Analysis" — a human face transformed into a data dashboard, with sleep metrics, heart rate, and apnea alerts layered directly onto the skin, as if technology could read the body in real time.
From that image, the motion and narrative were built in Seedance, animating each interaction: the tap on "Sleep Score" that triggers a purple-and-orange gradient of light, and the cut to "Sleep Apnea," where everything goes dark and a scanning light sweeps across the face as she sleeps.
The result is an exercise in AI-driven creative direction — showing how a product campaign, in this case built around the concept of wearable-free sleep tracking, can be fully constructed using generative models, from the first frame to the final animated piece, while maintaining visual consistency, cinematic lighting, and a clear narrative in just 15 seconds.
No humans were filmed. No locations were rented. 100% AI, from image to video.

Here is our submission for the Envato Human by Design Challenge
Instead of creating a fictional brief, we treated "Envato" as our client.
We asked ourselves one simple question:
What does it take to create a video for the Envato Challenge?
That led us to a slightly unconventional approach. Rather than making a behind-the-scenes film, we made the creative process become the story itself.
The entire video is built around breaking the fourth wall, a storytelling technique that only works when there's a human intentionally guiding the audience through it. It felt like the perfect way to interpret Human by Design, where the tools help create the work, but the idea, intent, and storytelling remain deeply human.
Using Envato's AI Voice, Images, Music, SFX and Motion Graphics, we brought that concept to life.
We hope you enjoy our take on Human by Design and the way we chose to break the fourth wall. A risk worth taken as the challenge as the Project itself.
