AI is going to make websites much easier to build.
And much faster.
I'm pretty sure of that.
But I don't think this makes web design less valuable.
It makes good web strategy more valuable.
Because there will be no shortage of websites that look good. The real question is whether the website has a job.
For me, that job is pretty simple:
Bring the right traffic. Build trust quickly. Turn that traffic into leads. Send those leads where the business can actually do something with them.
That's what I'm trying to build around real estate.
Not just another nice-looking website.
A proper online asset that actually has a role in the business.

Agreed on the job test — for real estate specifically I'd add one more: does the site let a lead self-qualify by budget/area before they message you, or does every inquiry still need a human to filter it? That's where most "nice-looking" real estate sites quietly fail.

Totally makes sense. But there are always trade offs in the number and quality of leads. If you make lead captures more complex this will drop your conversion numbers

Great work🔥 Trust and conversion are ultimately what turn a good looking site into a useful one.

Exactly. When the cost of execution drops, judgement becomes the differentiator. If there is no strategy that connects the websites design to the goal of business the website fails, regardless of how it looks.

That's true.

taras the real estate listing shots look sharp. do the leads go straight to the agent?

Exactly, in this case everything is integrated straight into CRM and Notion company systems

Spot on, Taras! AI is definitely lowering the barrier to entry for building good-looking sites, but it can't replicate the actual strategy behind them. The value is definitely shifting toward the thinking, not just the execution. Great perspective!

100%. A pretty website that doesn't convert is just a digital brochure. What is the biggest conversion leak you usually see on real estate sites before you redesign them?

I agree, nowadays the AI made UI mostly look similar and it could look boring on the other hand even simple web - design by us can look more professional and aesthetically pleasing.
