Project name: CapForge | Ancient Chinese Imperial Era
For this CapCut Design Studio Challenge I reimagined CapCut as CapForge, a master forge house from ancient imperial China.
CapForge doesn't sell swords. It sells the forge, the fire, the tools, and the knowledge that transforms an ordinary person into a warrior. Because that's what CapCut actually does. It doesn't create for you. It makes you capable of creating.
With the help of Design Studio I built the entire brand world , the forge architecture, the master at the anvil, the visual system, all rendered in Chinese ink wash painting style native to the era.
This is not about war. It's about craft. About what happens to a person when they're given the right tools.

Project Title:
TimeMap — Historical World Explorer
Short description:
TimeMap is an interactive historical world map explorer that lets you travel through time and space simultaneously. Select multiple cities and archaeological sites from different parts of the world and see what was happening at the exact same moment in history.
What I built:
An interactive web app where you can:
Search historical cities and archaeological sites
Compare up to 4 locations simultaneously across 5,000 years of history
Navigate through 7 historical eras via an interactive timeline
Filter by world region
Listen to era-appropriate ambient music
Explore a vintage cartographic map with wave ocean texture
How I used Google Stitch:
I started from a personal infographic I designed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop about the Korean Peninsula. I extracted the visual DNA — warm cream palette, coral accents, serif typography — and brought it into Google Stitch to prototype the interface. Through multiple iterations in Stitch I designed the map layout, the side panel, the leader portrait, the timeline and the editorial aesthetic. Stitch was the bridge between my design vision and the final development in Claude Code.

Feedback on Stitch:
Stitch is genuinely powerful for rapid UI prototyping. Iterating visually with prompts saved enormous time. The design consistency across iterations was impressive. Areas for improvement: handling complex SVG elements like world maps was challenging, and version history navigation could be more intuitive.
Very cool, the maps look awesome.

Concept Statement
CapCut Smash House reimagines CapCut as a modern smash burger restaurant built around bold flavors, playful branding, and memorable food experiences.
The concept transforms CapCut from a creative platform into a fast-growing food and beverage brand where every burger is crafted to be shared, talked about, and remembered. The goal was to create a complete burger brand that feels authentic, energetic, and culturally relevant while maintaining the bold and approachable spirit associated with CapCut.
The visual identity combines custom typography, vibrant colors, playful illustrations, premium packaging, and modern advertising to create a brand that feels fresh, youthful, and highly recognizable. Every touchpoint, from the logo and packaging to posters and merchandise, supports the idea of serving "Burgers Worth Talking About."
The final project includes a complete brand identity system featuring logo design, packaging concepts, advertising campaigns, restaurant applications, merchandise, and branded mockups that bring the CapCut Smash House world to life.
