🚀 Today I started learning Design Engineering.
The past year has been packed with exciting projects, so honestly, I haven’t had much time to keep up with every new trend. But lately it’s been hard to ignore how quickly things are changing. AI, vibe coding, Claude Code… my feed is full of people exploring completely new ways of building products. I’ve been using AI for a while too—for copy, research, images, and quick wireframes—but it’s becoming pretty clear that we’re only scratching the surface.
So I decided it was time to learn something new. Not because I want to generate generic AI designs or become a prompt operator. Quite the opposite. I still believe good products need thoughtful UX, strong visual design, and human judgment. I just want better tools to prototype ideas faster, test interactions more realistically, and spend less time on repetitive work. If AI can save me a few hours, I’d much rather spend them solving real product problems than pushing pixels around.
Curious how everyone else feels about it. Have you started learning new tools or skills recently? Or are you still figuring out where this whole AI wave is taking your profession? 👀
