I designed a Shopify website for Jefe Gallery, a platform created to empower artists through collaborative pop-up gallery shows. The platform allows artists to act as their own bosses and art dealers. They keep 100% of their artwork sales while managing the promotion of their work through their social media channels.
Jefe Gallery generates revenue through branded merchandise collaborations with participating artists. Profits from merchandise sales are split 50/50 between the artist and the platform, allowing Jefe Gallery to help fund future pop-up shows.
My goal was to create a website that felt fun, bold, and engaging. I highlighted the brand’s yellow and black color palette and added interactive product images that switch between front and back views when customers hover over them. I also included a short product video showing someone handling one of the T-shirts, giving customers a more realistic look at the design and quality.
I used Shopify, Figma, Photoshop, Canva, Nanno Banana, and ChatGPT throughout my design process. The final website successfully captured the energetic personality of Jefe Gallery while clearly presenting its products, mission, and artist-focused business model.
