My Figma Make project Observer Effect 👀✨
uses eye-tracking to show how observation turns into activation, and follows my fascination with Quantum Theory.
I built the prototype simply by chatting with Figma Make AI, starting with a broad idea and iterating with a few of my own Figma UI references until a mind-blowing digital experience was ready to play with.
This can easily become an art installation unfolding a whole story lines through interactive observation. Observer observing the observed.

We'll get there :) like with face recognition and masks, although that's not the greatest example..
I’ve tried it and this is so cool, but had some problem with proper eye tracking, what are the best condition for it? (If you don’t mind please check my submission, I tracked hand ahaha)
Yeey, happy you tried it! :)) Yes, eye-tracking is still tricky but for my project it's the key.
Gotta be patient with it, can try tweaking calibration settings but I found most helpful taping with mouse at a spot I'm looking at after couple of those taps in different areas...
Exactly hand tracking is an old technology but becaming more and more popular and feasible thanks also to the new webcam resolution and sensors.
I thought about eyes too, but chosen the easy way ahahah. Glad to connect with you!
