Been exploring WebGL + shaders through this cylindrical image gallery.

A few things I’m taking from it:

- Think about the surface before the individual images. - Small speed differences can add a lot of depth. - Shaders work best when they support the interaction. - Most of the polish is in fixing seams, timing and transitions. - Performance quickly becomes part of the design.

Still experimenting with how far this can go while keeping it useful for real websites.

A full shoot, built from a single product photo. I started with one flat e-commerce packshot, the same asset any brand already has, and built the rest: fabric detail, styling, and the product worn, on two models, across front, profile and back. One coherent world, one locked direction. It works two ways: as pre-production, to explore several directions before a shoot and decide with something real in front of you, and as final, campaign-ready visuals for social and e-commerce, refined down to the detail. And it scales in every direction: more products and full looks, several models in a single frame, different sets and moods from the same starting assets, and motion.
