🚨 Official Announcement: A New Global Milestone for "AVIÃO" as a finalist at the AI for Good Film Festival 2026, organized by ITU, the United Nations specialized agency for digital technologies 🇺🇳🎬 I am deeply honored to share that, after earning a Top 4 placement in the CapCut Video Studio Challenge (here on @Contra HQ) and being selected by Fairground for FAST TV distribution and a grand finalist for the Best AI season , my AI short film, AVIÃO, has been officially selected as a finalist at the AI for Good Film Festival 2026, part of the AI for Good Global Summit 2026 in Geneva, from a pool of more than 1,300 submissions worldwide. AVIÃO will be screened on the big screen on July 9 alongside nine other outstanding AI-powered short films, each showcasing how AI and creative storytelling can work together to address global challenges. The film was proudly created through a director-led AI cinema workflow using CapCut Video Studio / Seedance 2.0, as part of the CapCut Creative Partner Program (CPP). This recognition means a lot to me — not only as a filmmaker, but as someone exploring how AI can help cinema express perception, empathy, and emotional realities that are often difficult to see.
