Going with the After version — the dark hero with the photo background creates a much stronger emotional connection immediately. The Before feels a bit too generic and light for an events/community venue. The After communicates personality and atmosphere right away, which is exactly what you want for a "book us" CTA.
I love after one!
I'd also go with "After", looks more inviting, power of the visual right 👍
