When I started KEISH Design Studio, I had high hopes but realistic expectations. Now here we (meaning I, this is a one-woman show 😂) are, two years in. Did I mention I only freelance part time?
I’ll be honest, I don’t have a secret sauce for how to make money on this platform, or anywhere else. I’m not going to start a podcast or selling courses, but I’ll throw these nuggets of moderate wisdom out there:
1. Respect people’s time and their money by doing good work
2. Learn when to say no to things, to yourself and others—it will open the door to better things, and
3. You don’t have to be the master of all. Just knowing a lot about a few valuable things is okay! Go all in on what you're good at, and genuinely interested in.
