You have 0.3 seconds to make someone tap your game. This is how you do it.
Designed the key art and branding for Tower Runner — a mobile game that needed a cover image bold enough to compete in an app store full of noise.
The challenge with game art: everything has to read in under a second. The logo, the characters, the world — it all has to land instantly at thumbnail size and still hold up at full resolution.
Here's how it was solved:
→ Pixel-style tower mascot as the brand anchor — memorable, scalable, character-driven
→ Two rocket-boosting player characters flanking the logo for energy and motion
→ Deep atmospheric background with floating platforms and a moon for world-building
→ High contrast color blocking — red, yellow, blue — for instant visual hierarchy
→ Bold outlined logo treatment that reads at any size
This is the kind of work that sits between graphic design and game UI — and it's one of my favorite intersections to work in.
If you're building a game, app, or digital product and need key art, cover design, or UI that actually converts — let's talk.
