Over the past 3 years, I’ve created several mascots for mobile apps.
The key lesson: a mascot should never be decoration.
It should guide, reassure, celebrate, and become part of the product’s voice.
I’m now preparing KEEPLI for the Recraft × Contra Mascot Challenge — not as one cute character, but as a full system across identity, stickers, mobile UX, and physical applications.
A strong mascot doesn’t sit next to the product.
It belongs inside it.

What started as a simple character sketch became an entire visual world.
For this challenge, I designed an original mascot with its own personality, custom wordmark, signature color palette, and a complete identity system that stays consistent across posters, stickers, packaging, and social media.
The goal wasn't just to create a cute character—it was to build a mascot that feels like it belongs to a real brand and can live across endless applications without losing its identity.

Mascot Brand Identity
Character: Cairn the Fox is built directly on real, respected exploration culture: the century-old tradition of carrying a numbered expedition flag, the summit-logbook ritual, the universal trail cairn, vintage passport/luggage stamp collecting, and inherited brass field instruments translated into actual design elements rather than just mood-board flavour.
Category: Wilderness & Outdoor Exploration + Global Travel & Landmarks, built to cover all three domains explorers actually work in: land, water, and air.
Research grounding: This identity borrows the texture of real, honoured exploration traditions never any trademarked names, seals, or logos and turns them into character design language:
The numbered expedition flag for over a century, explorers have carried a single numbered cloth flag into the field and returned it with a written report. We translate this into a small fox-sized flag tube Cairn always carries.
The summit logbook: climbers sign a logbook left in a metal box at a summit as proof of passage. Sailors and aviators keep the same kind of record in a ship's log or flight log. We give Cairn one shared pocket field journal that serves all three purposes, proof this character belongs equally on a ridge, on the water, or in the air.

Meet Flurry
This is my submission for the Recraft Challenge, Flurry is a mobile app mascot that lets you monitor your mental state of mind and gives you advices on how to maintain a good well-being, you can also play with Flurry, if you are feeling bored and even also talk with Flurry.
This project is close to me because I also used to battle with some mental health stress and it really took a toll on me but I am super glad to build something that solves that problem with @Recraft
The character was built using descriptive prompts and I also built out some social media images and video ads to demonstrate mascot consistency across all assets.
