As a designer, we've all heard the phrase "make it POP"
But what do you MEAN MAKE IT POP?!
So, here's my own take on this absolutely iconic phrase 😅
Quick little doodle brain dump, because that's how most of my ideas start out as - tiny thumbnails that do make sense (to me... sometimes...)
Quick bash in Adobe Illustrator and playing around with the 3D effect, which I am now in love with and will only be making bubble text henceforth. Sozzages... 🤭 And then into After Effects for a little motion.:

Koko Kitchen is a bold, character-driven brand identity designed for a Japanese fusion kitchen that serves ramen, artisan cookies, and everything in between with the warmth and personality of a neighborhood spot that actually remembers your order.
The goal was to build a brand that feels as good to look at as the food feels to eat. Deep terracotta orange, a hand-drawn cat chef mascot, and confident wordmark typography that works equally well on a storefront sign at night and a delivery bag at noon.
Special attention was given to:
- A cat chef mascot that carries personality across every touchpoint
- A-frame signage leading with "Made with Love. Served with Joy"
- Premium cookie gift box with Miso Caramel and Matcha White Choc. flavour sleeves
- Staff aprons that make the team part of the brand
- A delivery bag that turns every rider into a moving billboard
- Backlit corner signage that owns the block after dark
The result is a restaurant brand that's warm, memorable, and built to travel from the kitchen counter to the customer's door

The product reveal pacing here is really tight, nothing lingers a beat too long. How much of that rhythm gets locked in the storyboard versus discovered later in the edit?
What if the singer Angèle had her own mouthwash brand, directly inspired by her artistic universe? This is the idea I was led to explore through this project 😊
