When ACE Resource Network came to me, they were a national nonprofit with a massive mission and no visual identity. Their work is breaking the cycle of childhood trauma through real systems change. Legislation, hospital protocols, clinician training. The kind of brief that makes you sit up a little straighter.
The challenge was finding the balance. The work is about Adverse Childhood Experiences in kids, but the brand isn't for kids. It speaks to clinicians, legislators, and state partners across red states and blue states alike. Too playful and you lose credibility. Too clinical and you lose the warmth that makes people lean in.
So I built the full brand identity. Strategy, positioning, logo, visual system, and guidelines. Something functional, welcoming, and human. A brand strong enough to anchor a movement, humble enough to let everyone else shine.
Brand guidelines fail when someone tries to use them. The PDF is complete. But when a developer needs something the system didn't anticipate, there's no logic to extend from. A style guide documents what exists. A system tells you what to do next.
Good technology deserves a brand people can understand and trust.
For NOVAiris, I built the brand around a simple problem:How do you make complex AI infrastructure feel clear, credible, and relevant to modern businesses?
From positioning and personality to the visual identity system, every decision was designed to make the technology feel intelligent, purposeful, and easy to engage with.
Strategy first. Identity follows.
