Cinematic Portfolio - Demo
I created this portfolio as a cinematic experience, one that feels more like opening a film than browsing a website. The aim was to show creativity and technical skill at once, so visitors remember the brand long after they leave.
The hero introduces the idea with "Human ideas. Digital impact." It sits over a full-screen video of an alpaca wearing glowing VR goggles in front of the word "Possibilities." The scene reacts to the cursor, so visitors are invited to explore from the first second.
I built the visual language around deep black, crimson nebula tones and a clean monospace typeface. Each section has its own video backdrop, including a mountain range under a starry sky and a glowing black hole behind "Adaptive intelligence." Together they feel like chapters of one story.
The content stays clear despite the drama. The capabilities are distilled into AI, Web and App, technology is explained through four practical services, and seven product designs open in a full viewer with previous and next controls. A three-stage process of Discover, Build and Evolve shows how projects move from idea to launch.
For accessibility and comfort, a pause button lets visitors stop the background videos. The journey ends with "Let's build what's next." and a single clear invitation to connect with Kodsinc.

The design combines dramatic icy landscapes, bold typography, and vibrant orange accents to create an immersive experience that captures the spirit of adventure.
Special attention was given to:
A cinematic hero composition featuring an explorer in extreme conditions.
Oversized typography that communicates strength and confidence.
A cold blue-and-orange color palette inspired by alpine environments.
Clear CTAs that guide visitors toward the collection and expedition.
Responsive mobile layouts that preserve the visual impact.
Minimal navigation that keeps the focus on the experience.
The result is a visually striking digital concept that connects outdoor performance with premium product storytelling.

How did you choose the hero image?
Hot take: hair growth products don't have to look like medicine to work like it.
Most brands in this category go clinical white and blue, it reads safe, but it also reads like something you'd hide in a drawer, not something you'd want visible on your sink. For Maneup Labs, I went almost fully black instead.
That was a real risk. In a category this saturated with sterile, pharmacy-white packaging, going dark could just as easily read cold, or get lost next to competitors leaning into "clean = trustworthy." But it did the opposite: next to every clinical-looking bottle on the shelf, black reads premium, not medicinal, closer to what you'd expect from a grooming or fragrance brand than a hair-loss aisle.
That's the audience shift the whole rebrand was built around, not the guy who wants to feel like he's medicating something, but the guy who wants a product that looks like it belongs on his counter.
