Finally sharing a project I worked on back in 2025.
Hello everyone, alfinu on this stage!
This project is built around a feeling many people know but rarely talk about the kind of longing that isn’t just about food, but about home itself.
Mẹ Bahay lives between cultures. Rooted in Southeast Asia, but shaped by distance, migration, and memory. The name combines “Mẹ” (mother) and “Bahay” (home), reflecting how home is often defined by people, not places.
Instead of focusing on a single culinary tradition, the idea was to create something more universal something that speaks to shared experiences, especially for those who’ve spent time away from home.
