Braden Evans's Work | ContraWork by Braden EvansBraden Evans
Carefully engineered software for complex business problems.
Kumiko's own website, designed, built and operated by me on Cloudflare Workers, with every push to main deploying automatically via a custom CI/CD workflow.
What it covers:
Hosting and DNS: HTTPS enforced, www redirects to the main domain with paths and query strings kept, and old URLs permanently redirected to their new homes.
SEO and AI search: page titles and descriptions everywhere, schema.org (http://schema.org) structured data linking the company, its services, products, case studies and notes, an llms.txt file plus a full-text version for AI engines, Markdown and RSS versions of every note, and a sitemap verified in Bing Webmaster Tools. GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and other AI crawlers are allowed in.
Contact form: inquiries go straight to email through a transactional email service, verified end to end in production. Experiments: three browser games, one HTML file each App Archaeology: a read-only storage inspector for macOS
A Mac utility I built and shipped on the Mac App Store under Kumiko Solutions.
It shows where each installed app keeps its data (caches, containers, preferences, logs, launch items), how much space each app really uses, and what deleted apps left behind. It only reads. It never deletes a file and makes no network connection.
The hard part was the macOS sandbox. Some folders are always off limits, and macOS asks before an app can read another app's data. Scan Coverage shows which folders were checked and which ones macOS kept private, so the totals never claim more than they know.
App Review rejected the first build. On macOS 26, a status banner drew over the sidebar and cut off text. I fixed it, then checked every window and sheet at minimum size in light and dark mode, found more clipping, fixed that too, and added UI tests for each case. The resubmission was approved.
SwiftUI, sandboxed, macOS 14 and later.
