I served as a news writer and editorial journalist for Blockfuse Labs, covering their bootcamp programmes, community events, and developer milestones across three distinct articles. Each piece required sourcing quotes from senior leadership, accurately representing programme details, and writing in a publication-ready news format that could be shared across media and social channels.
The work spanned a range of editorial formats from a hard news announcement (Cohort III registration launch) to a progress-report feature (Cohort IV mid-programme update) to a conference recap (ProdFest 2025 in Jos). Every article was written to serve both a developer audience and a broader tech media readership, balancing technical accuracy with accessible, story-driven prose.

I wrote and delivered a 5-email direct response sequence for Blockfuse Labs to drive signups for their Cohort I Web3 Development Bootcamp. The campaign targeted Web2 developers sitting on the fence about transitioning to Web3. A technically savvy audience that required credibility, urgency, and storytelling in equal measure.
Each email was built around a different psychological trigger: fear of obsolescence, proof via student success stories, objection handling, and scarcity. The sequence moved subscribers from awareness to decision, culminating in the highest-performing email achieving a 38.80% open rate-well above industry benchmarks.
The campaign contributed to over 1,200 total bootcamp signups across both cohorts.
