Systematic finance continues to evolve from a collection of trading strategies into a broader technology ecosystem spanning data, research, computation, execution and risk. The interesting question is increasingly how these pieces interact. #QuantFinance #FinTech #SystematicTrading
Modern financial markets are ultimately an infrastructure problem: clean data, reliable signals, low-latency execution, robust risk controls and scalable research environments. Quant strategies sit on top of this stack - and every layer matters. #QuantFinance #FinTech #Markets
The intersection of quantitative finance and AI is fascinating. Alpha discovery, portfolio construction, market simulation and risk management are all becoming increasingly data- and compute-intensive. The firms building the right research infrastructure may have as much edge as those building the models. #Quant #AI #FinTech
Quant finance is no longer just about finding alpha. The real edge increasingly comes from the ecosystem around it - data infrastructure, execution, risk systems, alternative data, compute and increasingly AI-driven research workflows. #Quant #FinTech #QuantFinance #AI
Spent today comparing Monte Carlo and historical simulation outputs. Different assumptions, different stories.
Clean data is often harder to obtain than a good model.
