Another hero section from a recent Web3 landing page I built
I always try to keep the first impression clean, fast, and easy to understand. In Web3, you usually have just a few seconds to explain your product before users leave, so the hero has to do a lot of heavy lifting
I always used border-radius without thinking too much about it.
Then I learned why products like Apple, Figma, and Linear don't use regular rounded corners everywhere.
A normal rounded corner creates a tiny visual bump where the straight edge meets the curve. You probably won't...
This time I tried building an ASCII text hero section with a minimal layout and i think it gives the hero a different personality without making it feel too busy
this one is a halftone fluid effect built with threejs i wanted to mix a fluid animation with a retro halftone look, and after a lot of tweaking, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out
