Axure RP prototypes are helpful when you want to make the designs come to life and be experienced in a desktop or smartphone browser as a real thing (which includes complex conditional logic) at a smaller cost than traditional development.
Figma has definitely come a long way in how it handles prototypes, however, they are still considered click-through with very modest conditional logic and interactivity features for a limited number of use cases.
